Ezra

Ezra is an eight-year-old boy from Northern Virginia who has autism and does not communicate verbally. According to his mother, Ezra is happiest in nature. Ezra loves to hike with his parents in local parks and forests. His mom said, “Ezra can be hyperactive but in nature, he is calm and happy.”

He received an iPad with LAMP software which allows the iPad to become a speaking device. This equipment will give Ezra a voice to express himself so he can communicate his needs which will improve his quality of life and bring him greater independence.
